Day 1:
Arrival at Chennai and transfer to Hotel Taj Connemara.
Day 2:
Visit Chennai city, Fort St George and Museum. Afternoon to Dakshinachitra Cultural Village and O/N at Mahabalipuram.
Day 3:
Morning sightseeing of Mahabalipuram's 7th century rock cut
shore temples. Afternoon drive to Pondicherry. O/N at Kailash Beach
Resort, which is a heritage property.
Day 4:
Full day city tour covering the French Quarter of Pondicherry

Day 5:
Drive to Gangakondacholapuram and Darasuram 10th Century
Temples. O/N at Swamimalai Heritage Resort
Day 6:
Day at Swamimalai experiencing traditional crafts such as
bronze statue making and pottery. Evening Cultural Programme. O/N at

Day 7:
Visit Pullamangai Temple, Tanjore Temple and Museum. Drive to
Karaikudi home to old merchants houses build in traditional style.

Day 8:
Drive 3 hrs to Dindugal and check into Cardamom House, a
quiet traditional home on the banks of the Kamaraj Lake at the foot
of the Western Ghats. The nearby village offers the opportunity to
see day-to-day life of Tamil people. O/N at Cardamom House.
Day 9:
Drive to Madurai and check into Taj Garden Retreat. Afternoon
visit Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum and Meenakshi Temple. O/N at Taj.
Day 10:
Drive to Kovalam en route visiting Padmanabapuram Teak
Palace, the only Teak palace in India. O/N at Chowra Beach near
Kovalam at Travancore Heritage.
Day 11:
Relax at the Beach. O/N at Travancore Heritage.
Day 12:
Morning drive to Thottapally
and check into your traditional
Kettuvallam Houseboat. Travel through the lush green backwaters of
Kerala observing the traditional lifestyle of the Keralites. You
will see Temples, fishing, people tending their crops and coconut
plantations as you drift through the canals. A unique and totally
relaxing experience. O/N on board the houseboat.
Day 13:
Your houseboat will drop you at Kayaloram lake Resort on the
banks of the backwaters. Traditional Keralan houses have been
reconstructed in this secluded spot. O/N at Kayaloram.
Day 14:
Transfer by motor boat to Alleppey and drive to Cochin.
Afternoon sightseeing of Fort Cochin, Jewtown, Mattancherry Palace.
Evening Kathakali Dance Performance O/N Heritage Fort - Heritage
Property.
Day 15:
Departure transfer to Cochin airport for onward journey.
