My wife and I travelled to India in May 2008 to visit her son who was selected for a two-month exchange with a sister university near Delhi in late March.
Our intention was to visit him before his exams in mid-May and tour northwest India, but we had only a few weeks to prepare for this unexpected trip.

We were planning to organize our travels through a reputable agent to ensure we would experience the most carefree and enjoyable trip possible. We contacted Colourful Indian Holidays to organize our trip around Delhi and Agra. Colorful India met and even exceed all out expectations. The driver was prompt at the airport to meet us and take us to our hotel. The hotels we stayed both in Delhi and Agra were magnificent and our tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Mabuhay I am a travel agent from the Philippines before knowing about Colourful Indian Holidays i had a very big problem regarding the arrangement of the tour package in India of my very important client. We booked Golden Triangle (Delhi/Jaipur/Agra/Delhi) tour in April/May
2008 based upon the web site of Colourful Indian Holidays. We were glad
that we chose them. Mr. Narindra Poonia was prompt responsive and
attentive to our needs. He even modified our tour to include Mathura
Krishna Temple darshan for us. He also personally escorted us to
memorable ethnic dinner at Choki Dhani.
Entire tour was well planned. A/C car the driver guides and hotels all

Hi Narendra,
I just wanted to write an email to say a big thanks to you and your team. We got back to the UK last Saturday and I have not had a moment to write until now.

The hotels we stayed at were great the food was always super. All in all we had a fantastic time.

We had a fabulous time in India. It was great to have our own driver at our disposal and Raju went out of his way to be helpful. Everyone was very keen to help. We were keen to make some changes to our itinerary for example, to ensure we had some time to relax by the pools as well as to sightsee, or to view the Taj Mahal without a guide so that we could take our time to soak it all up, and Colourful Indian Holidays were happy to accommodate our wishes. The hotels that we stayed in were very good and modern. I was impressed with the organisation from the start with rapid responses to our emails and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Once we had finished the tour, Narendra still provided us with transport from Delhi airport to the airport hotel free of charge.

I ve arrived safely back to Germany on Sunday 16 Nov 08 and I have been raving about this trip to everyone...Everyone has been asking... People are so envious and fascinated by the once in a lifetime experience that we had in India and I will recommend your tour services to friends. Thanks to your perfect organziation we had drivers guides and hotels avaliable to us throughout the trip and your flexibility when I needed to head back to Delhi early helped me immensely. Our driver was also very key on our trip due to the long distances between locations. He kept us safe took us to clean places was always helpful with our baggage and ALWAYS had a smile on his face. The three of us had a few days in Delhi before starting the tour and you were flexible to accomodate our individual wishes. We also wanted a specific hotel in one location which you were happy to help us with and offer specific advice regarding Pushkar fair. Thank you Narenda for putting together a very enjoyable tour for us. The tour guides and local agents in each area met us promptly and our driver was wonderful. Our driver acted as a tour guide himself answering our questions and showing us interesting things along the way. I cannot recommend him highly enough
The hotels we stayed in varied in quality but this was largely to do with our budget constraints. I loved our Heritage Hotel in Agra and want to thank Narenda for finding this one for us. It was a beautiful hotel I wouldnt recommend the Raj Palace in Ranthambore to other guests and would not recommend a full day safari there as this was far too long (and we spent an uncomfortable 3 hours lying on make-shift beds in the middle of the reserve without a toilet while we waited for our afternoon safari).
The tour was good value and though the driving we tried to achieve was perhaps a little too much for a 5 day tour the company worked so hard to ensure we could do everything we wanted. We met 3-4 tour guides on our way and only one did not meet our expectations. The others were really informative and so friendly. I really enjoyed all the places we saw on our route and thank Package India very much for all their work in planning this. Narenda was so patient with all my changes and requests and treats his customers very well.
I will be recommending the company to Lonely Planet too

We have done a South India Tour four years ago and were keen to do acomparative tour in North West India. So we booked a Rajasthan Tour at Package India Tours.After an obliging and helpful booking of the 14 day tour we started mid. of Nov. 08. The tour was exiting, we had gorgeous heritages and 5 Star hotels the driver drove with caution and the local guides were well informed. Each individual wishes were fulfilled and we felt very comfortable

I was a little hesitant about taking the risk of booking our Indian Tour for a group of eight people from the Internet. However Narendra from Colourful Indian Holidays was so prompt and efficient to deal with and his quote was so affordable for the quality of accommodation and inclusions that it seemed worth taking the risk. We were not one bit disappointed. When we traveled by train the new guide would be waiting right outside our carriage when we arrived at our destination. When we were driven the vehicles were extremely comfortable and spacious. The drivers were excellent and would go the extra mile to ensure we had the best possible experience even stopping for us to take photos when something unusual took our fancy. Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Narendra helped me to work out an itinerary that worked perfectly and allowed us to see everything possible within our time restraints. Colorful Indian Holidays did an excellent job customizing a trip for my family and me( extremely flexible to all our needs ). Their service was over the top and their prices were very reasonable (actually much better than the other tour agencies we contacted )
